Events Terms & Conditions
Event Registration
Participants can only register for a BotanicWise event via an online form available on this site.
During their registration process, participants must fill all fields marked as required. Participants thereby guarantee that all the details filled in are correct.
When the registration form has been filled in and the data confirmed the system sends a message to the email address provided in the form, confirming the registration.
Registration Payment
BotanicWise provides for the following types of payment:
- Payment to BotanicWise’s bank account, based on a pro forma invoice, sent electronically, to the email address of the Participant specified in the registering form.
- Using credit cards or bank transfer, available via Stripe and/or PayPal payment platform integrated with the registration system.
When registering for an event, for the benefit of a third party, the Payer confirms that they have been authorized by such party to issue all the necessary declarations, as required to meet the requirements.
The person registering for the event and accepting its terms and conditions thus declares to be duly authorized to make financial commitments towards BotanicWise on pain of civil liability, including for damages, for lack or abuse of power.
Refund of Registration Payment
When cancelling registration to an event, the Registrant may request a refund online at https://botanicwise.wpengine.com/refund-request.
BotanicWise reserves the right to reject such a request, if the request is made after the deadline agreed to during registration.
Should the refund request be granted, BotanicWise shall return the fee, less the costs of returning the fee in the cheapest available manner, within 7 business days days of receipt of request.
In the case that the User or a person that is not a registered User of the System transfer any amount of money to the bank account of BotanicWise, which does not correspond to a completed registration, BotanicWise shall return such payment, less the costs of returning the fee in the cheapest available manner, within 7 business days of receipt of request for refunding the unduly paid amount.
Permission to Use Image
During the event, BotanicWise may arrange photography and/or filming sessions for the purposes of broadcasting in the media (TV, radio, Internet, press) or for the purposes of documentation, marketing, or advertising for BotanicWise or other parties named by BotanicWise.
By participating in the event, Participants give their implicit permission for the recording, use, and/or dissemination by BotanicWise of each Participant’s image, voice, expression in any promotional and marketing materials without limitation of time or territory.
This permission means specifically that photo, video and audio recordings taken during the event may be placed on the event website or another website managed by BotanicWise, as well as used in marketing materials, including by dissemination in audio or video formats.
The Participants hereby waive any claims (existing or future), including for compensation from BotanicWise for such use of their image, voice or expression for the purposes defined hereunder.
